The Respiratory System

The Respiratory System is important in human anatomy and physiology and is involved in the transport of gas (oxygen and carbon dioxide) to and from tissue. The cardiovascular system is closely linked to the respiratory system as it allows the gas to be transported and pumped at specific pressure to allow for respiration to occur.
